Old pioneer speakers?

205.188.199.167

I just purchased a pair of huge pioneers. They were only 40.00 at a pawnshop. They have big white 12" woofers and the sound just carrys forever. They sound so sharp but they are lacking some high pitch. Should I hook my ADC eq or would that be overkill? All the speakers work fine but, one of the mids has the paper coming off. But sounds fine should I just leave it alone or fix it and what is the best kinda glue or tape or what? I didnt want to tear it because they are old. The dimensions are 38" tall and 12 inches deep and 19 inches wide. If anyone can help me or give me some info on old pioneers please help. But other than that 40.00 I traded some Bose 101 moniters. Big improvement. You can tell real speakers when the tone knobs actually do something.
