Hey guys,
I am planning on purchasing a new paradigm servo 15 subwoofer, and have a few questions. My first question is, will my 19 X 14 foot room be to small. I have heard that this sub should be used in large rooms. Anyways i would be placing the sub in the corner of the room, about 6 inches away from the side and rear walls. Will it sound boomy in my room or will it be just fine.My second question is, is the X-30 crossover really needed. The reason i am asking is, because i have an Onkyo reciever will a built in crossover set at 80 Hz. So if my speakers are set to large with a set frequency of 80 Hz, then doesn't it mean that the signal can not be crossed with the X-30. I am not sure, so please do help me out. This is my first real high end sub i will be purchasing. This is what an ONKYO TECHNITION told me. IS HE RIGHT.
Thank you very much your help!
