I went from a pair of CDM1's to a pair of Reynaud Twin MK2's and found the Reynauds to be very refreshing. I felt the same things you do about my old B&W's and wanted a more musical sounding speaker. The Reynauds sound much more like music, warmer, more intimate sound. They retail for $845. Very nice looking and they do have a front slotted port.Sean H
