I've heard Avance was having problems with distribution in the US. I bought a pair of their monitors about two years ago and I'm still impressed. I haven't listened to all of their speakers, but I know they attempt to make good quality speakers at fair prices. Their speakers use Scan-Speak and Vifa drivers and are made in Denmark.
