I have had a pair of Rhythm Ulitmates with 9700 tweeter running for about three months. I had a 200 watt solid state amp with an Audible Illusions Mod 3 tube preampm, at 200 watts the solid state was WAY TOO LOUD. I'm using it with a pair of 45 watt Dynaco tube monoblocks now, and there is plenty of volume for me. I'll bet 25 watts (like the Superamp) would be enough, but I don't know about SET (probably only 300B at 8 watts, because the 4 ohm load could be a problem for most SET amps). You could check out VTL ST85 or Conrad Johnson MV55 or Rogue, or the AES Superamp. I'm waiting for Blackie Pagano here in NYC to finish retubing and upgrading/triode modding my Music Reference RM9 tube amp!
