General speaker questions for audio and home theater.

I had been contemplating one of the Rhythm Signature kits with the Revalator tweeter to replace my ML extensively modified reQuest when I recently came across a Borealis kit for sale that had never even been opened. This Borealis kit has some mods to it, namely the Revelator tweeter, with custom pure silver wire replacing the standard wiring on the xovers, and Lee Taylor cabs included.
While it might be unlikely to find someone who has compared the Borealis vs. the Rhythm (especially in the above mentioned configuration) my questions for advise are this. Will I be giving up a lot by not sticking to my original plans with the Rhythm? Also the replacement of the pure silver wire for the xovers is an unknown, opinions on this appreciated as well.
Since I have been used to large speakers with a very pure midrange and expansive sound, I really do not want to take a step back in this regards. How much would I be giving up with the Borealis due to its two driver vs. three driver array in that regard.

Dedicated listening room, acoustically tuned.
