I have an old pair of b&w dm-14's that I bought new in 1981. The driver consist of 2 6.5" woofers and a silk dome tweeter. I'd like some opinions if I should take the drivers out of the boxes and build new boxes (using design software of course). I'd like to build vented boxes that extend the bass a bit. I've been checking the prices on quality 6.5" woofers, the prices seem to range from $30-$170 each. I'm not sure if it's economically feasable to rebuild with the old drivers or sell the speakers and start over again. Any opinions?
