SOTA speaker, how would you define it ?

Hi all,
A true SOTA (state of the art) would be one that sports the most advanced technology and against which other speakers would have to be compared, wouldn't it ?
Would it have to active or passive, how many drivers, how should it measure (amplitude response, step, impulse, dispersion etc.), time-coherent or not, what type of enclosure (sealed, reflex etc.) moving coil or electrostat (or other), other features I'm not thinking of ?

Just curious.
