As for room placement, I don't know if they'd be _that_ much of a problem. The screen of the TV is already about 2 feet out into the room, and I suppose I could always move them out further to do serious listening. Would they sound absolutely _awful_ two feet out, or would they just be performing under their potential? Does the fact that they have a lot more side room than front room help or hinder them?What I was more worried about was the strange shape of the room; the surfaces are quite reflective, and the room has a bit of resonance. Performing some crude tests (making the suitemate hold a comforter against the wall!) suggests that a tapestry above the bed will solve that problem, though...
