Just got through reading the a recent Stereophile review of your 33's.
Well executed design.
I have been doing intense home construction of speakers for over three decades and the last decade has allowed the home constructor the greatest access to technology (inexpensive but sophisticated software for modeling and measuring), along with sharing of data with fellow home constructors and professionals. Home constructors can now rightfully create extremely fine implementations rivaling commercial operations.
Then along comes an implementation like the 33's that cause one to pause and respect the technical achievement by one of the "commercial boys".
I have yet to hear the 33's but have had the opertunity to hear many of your other offerings, either by yourself at shows or by your dealers. Always a very enjoyable experience, especially knowing what the drivers you select really want to become uncontrolable.
The total package of cabinet resonance control, complex reflex loading, maintaining high impedance, well established dispersion and of course that unbelieveable CSD waterfall plot is to be commended. Especially knowing what beasts lurk in those metal drivers, outstanding. The tidbits of series implementation on the crossover topology makes the results even more of an amazement. 120db per octave and series must have made for some serious head scratching during the revision phase of the design.
Sadly, being a devout home constructor, I do not represent any prospective buyer for you or dealer, but I do look forward to hearing the creation at some future time.
Although not a commercial peer of yours, I do understand the challanges you faced and fully respect the results you rendered. Gives good insight into why at your recent showing, your creation garnered such high praise from the listening public.
