These things sing with tubes or good SS amplification. I'm a firly dedicated jazz fan and the Twins midrange and overall toanlity is rich, textured, and so realistically acurate that it still gives me goosebumps. Their imaging and soundstage is incredible, and more importantly they are monitors that work well in small and large rooms. My living room is 16'x20' and they cast a wonderful stage.
