How do I bi-wire tri-wirable speaker terminals?

Can someone tell me how I'm meant to bi-wire a set of speakers with tri-wire terminals?
I don't currently have enough cable to tri-wire, and I may not even like the sound if I could.
So which is it? The two tweeters/mids bridged together, or mids/bass?
