Need help with diagnosis!

General speaker questions for audio and home theater.

With the systems powered up, there is a light but noticeable scuffing(static like rattling) coming from my right speaker's woofer when nothing is playing. I've checked all connctions to make sure they are tight.
FYI, I have tube pre, hybrid(tube input SS output) power monos. Could it be the crossover on the speaker?(speakers are <2years old BTW) Or could it be tube problem? Or...
