thought about trying to talk them down to $4.50, but I didn't.
As to refoaming, some people say a DIYer can't get the driver centered exactly but I didn't seem to have any problem. The seller sent a couple pages of instructions, including advice to move the speaker back and forth gently after the new foam is in place and before the glue sets up. If any noise (i.e. friction from being uncentered) is present, move the foam 'til the noise goes away.Bruce
