I recently purchased this beautiful instrument. I was observing its mid/bass driver when i noticed that the middle part does not move with the cone. The middle of the driver appears to be metal that remains steady while the rest of the cone moves back and forth. I'd like to know if this should be the case. If so, kindly explain the technology behind it. Cheers.
