Thanks for the preview, James. You describe them as gentler yet more transparent; would you characterize them as more "forward" than the S3/5, or the same? Does the bass seem like it has less midbass hump than the 3/5?It would be interesting to compare it to the discontinued S1s & see the differences, if any; did your dealer still have any S1s around?
Let us know if you get another demo when they have more time on them! Hopefully QS&D will put some info about them on their website...
