I have a pair of 803 ser III, in a room just a bit smaller than yours, 11 1/2x10, and they sound great. I moved out the desk and made it just a listening room. I also tried the 804 first, they were fine but I wanted more bottom end. The N804 is now almost the same size as my 803 serIII, as it now has the same amount of drivers.
I think you would be ok, just add some corner tunes and carpeting if its not already carpeted.Allan
