The difference is so obvious on my system, that I have not bothered to do a blind test. I have performed controlled listening tests on IC's, speaker cables, and so on, but never felt the need to verify in this manner. To the best of my knowledge, no one has paublished any articles, even in popular press magazines for listening tests on bi-wiring. So there are no nulls, or other evidence that has been published.
I have to ask you:
Have YOU tried listening to a bi-wired system, and comparing it to single wiring? I have little patience for those who demand such tests from others, yet won't even bother to try for themselves.
If you are already usiong zip cord, then why not go buy enough to bi-wire, and try it? If you are using some quality cables, then even trying just some zip cord for the woofer, and using the existing cable on the HF's, will at least give you a shot at hearing things.
