it's unfortunate how James died.... My older brother had D140 silver cap bass drivers and they were so much better than anything else at the time, and I say they still are. Their sound was one of a kind. I sold a few used ones to some people years later when I would happen upon them and they were flabbergasted at how much better they were.
It's nice when someone asks you advice on something and you can answer them with a one and only recommendation.
