The KHorn was out of production for awhile after the Hoosier Garage Door King, Fred Klipsch, bought the company. I was pretty involved on the forum at the Klipsch website at the time and remember it well. There were two reasons; one was that EV stopped making the tweeter and a new supplier was needed and the other was that FK had little interest in the KHorn anyway and wanted to take the company in a mass market direction, which he did.
