Lt, I use an older tube amp with a sub woofer.I bought 2 Y cables.One output goes to 2 inputs.That way your sub plate amp can get the audio signal and most plate amps will cut off the upper music signals. Your tube amp will see the full signal as well as the plate amp..Parts Express and Audio Advisor both have some real good gold Y cables....Mark Korda
