Thanks so much! Yes, if I get around to the Silver 8s would likely be a little more conservative with things, assuming there are more caps etc. to replace. I wish I'd have gotten the Auricaps for the Tituses way back when, but they may not have been released yet?

It'll be a good experiment though ... currently I have the cash so can splurge a little, will probably go for the Mundorf/Dueland combo for the Tituses. At least it seems that 'should' give a vast improvement ... :)

Have to open up the Silver 8s and see what's in there. Things are likely 'MA' labeled (from a pic I found of one of their crossover boards) so may be hard to tell. I suspect even at the Silver 8 level they're probably fairly generic $5 parts. Hopefully the caps are labeled with ratings, I would think so.

"Humble" did have some suggestions for midrange and bass filter use, but that may have been the $$$ Mundorfs or Duelands. I certainly can't spend $1000/speaker! but hopefully some Auricaps etc. would make a nice difference.
