Connecting balanced amp to subs

General speaker questions for audio and home theater.

I want to connect a fully balanced Ayre A7e integrated amp via speaker cables to a Velodyne SMS-1 bass manager, and from the SMS-1 to a pair of Velodyne HGS-10s. I've learned that the connection from the amp to the bass manager needs to be + only, with no ground. But what about the connection from the bass manager to the subs, does that need to be + only as well?
