Is there a speaker made within the last 15 years that produc similar characteristics to the Epos ES14.
The ES14 as most will know are no longer in production but are still used by many today.
The midrange they produce is one of the things that really impress me, aswell ad the scale. But they also convey a realistic reproduction of instruments and vocals. Creating a wonderful musical image. The only downside I found was the tweeter that lacked a little refinement, but there were many that modified these with some success.
I'd be interested to know if any may have replaced their ES14's with alternative speakers and are pleased with the change, also how do they compare with the ES14's.
Thanks.
