Which classic speaker did he design that passed the test of time? I have not heard of any . Dave Wilson , Peter Snell , Franco Serblin , R.Vandersteen, and a few other world famous designers have at least one or even a few timeless designs. What about Andrew Jones? Fashionable crap going out of favor after a season or two.
My friendly dealer is sick and tired of people constantly calling in wanting to brag for hours about those A.J $270 boxes, while the speakers itself are just that- $270 speakers sounding like most other $270 speakers. He actually apologized to me ashamed that he has to stock that crap.
