RE: Tannoy Monitor Gold speaker terminal question.

Have managed 12 Gauge into My gold's spring things.
Tightly twisted and soldered ends though.
Frankly a replacement set of Screw on type terminals (remove the clip units and insert normal terminals easy-peasy ) is a good improvement.
The spring clips really do seem as niggardly
