RE: Many at the 2017 LA Audio Show pick the New ELAC Adante AF-61 Speakers the Best Sounding at the Show!

I was thinking that these speakers would be cheaper. You know, the cheap speaker that sounds like something expensive.


But that's what the Debut line is for.

The Adante is their new midrange hi-fi line. With more budget to work with, it should be a good step up in performance from the Debut.

I agree that the floorstander is priced right where the presumed competition is (Kef R, Revel Performa3, Dynaudio Excite, etc.) and the standmounter is priced a little bit higher than it's presumed competitors, but not so high that it would be out of the running.
