Home Speaker Asylum

General speaker questions for audio and home theater.

Allison. At any rate the port should be in front.

Allison speakers- no longer made - were designed for wall placement and in some cases corner placement. Roy Allison was a highly respected designer though his philosophy went against the grain of the current fashions. Linn speakers incorporate Allison's thinking in many cases.

I am told that you want the port in front if the speaker will be mounted against a wall. Makes sense.
It's never too late to turn back the clock.
