For the best comparison, you have to compare them side by side and make sure they are level matched in terms of SPL. Relying on memory older than 5 minutes is suspect at best. Audiophiles balk at this advice thinking that their memory is infallible but that simply isn't true. Dr Floyd Toole has documented this in his extensive research into speakers. Do yourself the favor and listen to them side by side with levels matched.
