Towers, not minis.

Minis make sense on or behind a table/work-surface/console, but on stands in an open area (with one or two subs to produce the low end), you're better off with a well-designed tower. Polk might have something you like, or maybe Revel/Harman. The Revel Salon 2 would be the tits, but I think they go for about $15K a pair. (I don't remember if you stated a budget in your post.)
