first - Does the seller have all shipping mate. that the speakers came in & can be picked up as it originally shipped. If not, forget about it.
Second - If so, I would contact a moving company. People are moving all the time & good chances you can find a company that is moving someone from NYC to down to somewhere in your area & if there's room in the van they'll happy to for, 100.00 or so, ? . What speakers we talking about.
Third - If he has all the original shipping stuff, well, its been shipped around before by UPS, FedEx, or what ever. If shipper will pick up' well, its made it this far so hopefully it will make it again..
