RE: dome without hard grill: not for home with childlren?

My first set of good speaker used a metal dome tweeter and a metal dome dust cover on the midrange. My cousin took his little finger and pushed both in. They looked bad but sounded OK for about 15 or 20 years until they finally died. Use a cloth grill cover for now and remove it when you are using it. Cosmetics do play tricks with the mind so some care would be advised.

Or keep telling them the story of how if you push this it releases the big kid eating spiders that live inside it.
