Q Acoustics anyone?

A buddy of mine sent me a used PS Audio Sprout as a gift because he couldn't use it and I was looking to set up an office desktop system. I've paired it with Q Acoustics 3020 speakers that I bought new from Amazon for $249. They're two way, rear-ported stand mount speakers with 5 inch woofers and 1 inch soft dome tweeters. Seem to be all the rave in the UK for a budget speaker, with reviews suggesting they're seriously good regardless of price.

For now I have them sitting on my desk with the ports plugged (they come with foam plugs). I'm playing my iTunes collection of Apple Lossless ripped CDs by USB into the Sprout from my work MBP (using sharing from another MBP I am using as a server). Just using the iTunes player without any TP player, a cheap USB cable, and lamp cord speaker wire, but after about a week they sound quite remarkable in this humble set up. Once they fully break in I might try them on stands without the plugs in a system with my Rogue Audio Cronus Magnum II to see how they hold up in a better system.

Q Acoustics is a UK company with a manufacturing facility in China. Wonder if any Asylee has heard these or any other model from Q Acoustics?

"If you are the owner of a new stereophonic system, this record will play with even more brilliant true-to-life fidelity. In short, you can purchase this record with no fear of its becoming obsolete in the future."
