RE: Infinity IRS Omega Vs. Renaissance 90 vs. Kappa 9.2i

The only pairs I'm familiar with are the Kappa's. They do sound good but notorious for dropping to very low impedances. I would think the Threshold up to the task. However, these models are very old. I bought a set of 7's new back when the line was current and had to have the woofers reconed in less than 10 years. Infinity also does not have replacement parts, probably for any of those models. Unless you are a hobbyist in restoring I'd avoid all of those. Even restoring could be a challenge if no parts. I'm not sure if anyone offers aftermarket type parts for Infinity.

If considering new you may want to look at the Revel Performa 3 series. Some used Dynaudio would be good with the Threshold.
