I've been looking for a second sub for my system. There is a used B&W ASW4000 sub for sale locally for $400 (mrsp $3000-4000). The issue is that it "crackles" sometimes. Would it be worth the risk? He is using it with a pr of Krell Lat1 spkrs (mrsp $37500!!) spkrs. I'm thinking its the amp, not the speaker. Maybe just a nice cleaning with Deoxit may work? Thanks for your advice.
