I have an old orphan 2-way Tannoy Silver that came without the matching crossover. I'd like to test it before selling it offCan I use a graphic stereo EQ instead? Have other Asylum inmates succeeded with this?
Should the EQ be wired between source and power amp(s) or between amp and speaker? It's a 2-way so if I split and shape the signal after the preamp I'll need two power amps which I think will add other complications. But sending 15-40 watts through a line level EQ sounds like a safety issue.
