I believe Quad was sold and moved production to China. I have no firsthand before-and-after experience, but some reviews I've read seem to indicate that quality has not suffered. I'm not implying anything. I just don't know.Or maybe the disappointment lies in the end of a long tradition, which I am also a fan of.
Of course, Quad wasn't sold to Behringer!
