RE: Sonus Faber Vs ProAc

I've always been a firm believe of the Linn philosophy, where "Source Comes First". It makes perfect sense since you can only output what you input (i.e. garbage in = garbage out). If you have cheap sources, your speakers will not make it better.

So now that I'm satisfied with my sources and amplification (best I could buy for my budget - at least to my ears), I'm looking for the best possible floorstanding speakers within my budget that will work great in my 12ft x 14ft room. Budget: $5,000 - $7,000 US.

Amplification = McIntosh MAC6700 integrated
Sources = Rega RP10 turntable, Aurender N100H streamer, Bryston BCD-1 CD player (rarely use my CD player)
Cabling = Crystal Cable Micro Diamond Series
Speakers = Still researching but ProAc Response D30R are at the top of my list for now
