After 45 years of speakers and amps my experience is that acoustically suspended speakers should be avoided regardless of price because you get not much at low volumes. Everything I've learned tells me that, absent the extra expense of an equalizer of some sort, a speaker of at least 90 db/one watt/one meter efficiency would be required. My Dunlavy SC IVs (Marsh A400 amp)were good at low volumes but not as good as my Grand Veenas with Quicksilver 88s. Thus I would think the Reference 3A mmDeCapo would be great.
