RE: Polypropylene

I agree with you about polyprop drivers self-damping well. I use a large collection of (vintage) Rogers speakers all using this type of driver. Spendor seem to be the only ones still using polyprop drivers.

I agree with you about the ringing, cracking, and quacking of modern drive unit materials (carbon fiber, metal, kevlar, etc.) that don't self-damp well. In comparison, I hear very, very little or none of these kinds of colorations with the Rogers and Spendor polyprop drivers.
