RE: New Breakthrough for BOSE 901's owners by putting wood glue on the speaker driver's paper cones Part Two.....

But in the first thread you said they sounded "SOOOO MUCH BETTER !" and now you're saying "Now my speakers sound fine now..."

So they sounded sooo much better, and when you poked the wood glue off the dust caps do they sound even soooo much betterer??

I have had several pairs of speakers where I thought they sounded really good and kept tweaking and trying to get them to sound better. Every time I did something I thought "This is IT!" until the next thing I did to try to fix them.
After a while I realized that I kept dicking with them because they pretty much sucked. My last few pairs of speakers I haven't really done much to them except enjoy.
I owned 901 III years and years ago and haven't heard them since so I have no idea how good or bad they are. But you keep dicking around with yours...
