Polks are one of the few remaining American speaker manufacturers that are real gems when it comes to affordable high end. Thanks mainly to them manufacturing cheap speakers, they are able to maintain a high end line where they can put their love and passion and produce outstanding musical instruments. Their LSi line has been very successful, and LSiM represents a further evolution build on what they've learned from LSi. I'm still sticking with my LSi15 based system, and curiously looking at Polk's LSiM 707 floor-standing speaker. Unfortunately, I was only able to audition them in the showroom type setup, where I could not form a concrete opinion on whether they will be a worthwhile upgrade from LSi15 or whether I should look for other high end brands. Especially since now I can afford much higher price range... One wrinkle I have with Polk LSiM, is that like LSi, they are made in China.
Having said that, Polk LSiM are worth a listen, regardless.
