Hi,> Low sensitivity is not bad per se.
Correct, however LOW EFFICIENCY generally is.
Thermal compression in drivers depends on the power dissipated and several distortion mechanisms in speaker drivers are linked to current in the voice coil.
Plus TS Parameters in drivers are only valid for small signal (that is voice coil at room temperature, minimal excursion, power of a few milliwatt), so with a low effciency speaker your TS parameters will be all over if you turn up the wick.
Of course, for some peculiar reason few speaker driver manufacturers ever publish Thermal Compression and Distortion Data for their drivers, even the most expensive ones or TS Parameter dependency on signal.

I would not consider this "a good thing".
This is why I recommended a 15" Driver with > 100dB/1W/1m efficiency as one of the "Best Mid-Bass of All Times!".
Because for levels equivalent to the maximum your choice will reach, the 15" driver will show minimal distortion, compression and shift of TS (or fundamental) Parameters. Of course, not everyone desires low distortion HiFi.

At 20 bits, you are on the verge of dynamic range covering fly-farts-at-20-feet to intolerable pain. Really, what more could we need?
