Curious, sound traveling over a distance isn't so difficult unless you want it Loud - at the distance position.
Here is a question: Do you want the sound to seem like it is coming from the loudspeaker position (not too dificult) - or do you want it to sound like the sound is coming from "over there" near the birds?(difficult - requires ultrasonic stearing array's.
How long do you need to product the sounds?
What level (in dB) do you need the sound produced at @100 meters
