I find synergy difficult to predict and prefer to avoid high-priced crapshoots. I can understand some people enjoying that sort of thing. Consider the number and prosperity of casinos.
I can also imagine fretting whether I might better have bought the WonderWires than the RitzLitz -- and how would I know?
In my opinion, investing in a a strong, stable amplifier and good quality copper wire of appropriate gauge is a more reliable strategy. I think this is what Gordon Gow was getting at, years ago. If you bought his McIntosh amplifier you really needn't concern yourself with exotic wire which, at that time, was Monster Cable.
As for buying wire at WalMart, it was good quality bulk cable and the price was right. Is there something wrong with that?
