I had a pair of CV U351's HED (high energy design)3 way model which I purchased in 1982 no idea how they stack up against similar 15" models but all in all they weren't terrible but could sound somewhat bright at times. Probably a combination of being underdriven and in too small of a room. Both woofers needed to be refoamed and gave them away approx 8 years ago just to get the behemouths out of the house.
