Some good options for speakers posted already. I recently put some ERA D4s (recommended by mbnx01) into a smallish bedroom up near the ceiling and was quite pleasantly surprised. With a small REL subwoofer (new T3 for $500 delivered off of Ebay) I think you'd have a sweet, space-filling setup.Good luck.
