Great speakers...I've owned the 801 S3's on 2 separate occasions, one pair decked out with Sound Anchor stands and North Creek XO's.

The tweeter in the S3's is a treat, listen as long as you like and you won't get tired of the tunes at all.

Keep enjoying those fine speakers...and don't be afraid to spend a little cash on the XO component upgrade, it can get far better from where you are now.
