RE: Bose 2.1 Lifestyle® 235 home entertainment system

I haven't heard the new Lifestyle 235 system in my home, so can't comment on its sound. The Bose 321 GS III system is what I use, and it is available with an iPod dock for $1099. In my home, it replaced a system made up of DVD player, NAD receiver, and Vandersteen speakers. For less money, the Bose system provides better sound, simpler operation, and takes up less space. The 235 system has many more features and a new speaker design; whether this translates into greater enjoyment of one's source material will depend on individual needs and ears.
