I realize this thread is old, but I also just purchased a pair of the XR200s. By chance I also auditioned the Sophia, the 802 Diamond, but I also auditioned both the Revel Salon 2 and the Studio 2. Of all these speakers, I preferred the 200s though the Revels would have been my second choice--they were excellent and very close to the 200s. I found the 200s a tad more neutral and transparent. By comparison the Revels felt a touch unnaturally bright and forward.
